What
is MOMS Club® ?
MOMS Club stands for MOMS Offering Moms Support®. As a
support group for stay-at-home moms, we believe that staying home to
raise our children is a fulfilling full-time job! The
first chapter was founded in 1983 by Mary B. James in Simi Valley,
CA. We have grown to over 2,000+ chapters (including
International Chapters) with over 100,000 members.
What is the purpose of
MOMS Club® ?
Our purpose is to provide a forum of topics of
interest to women; sharing concerns, ideas, and feelings with other mothers; giving
mothers more of a voice in the community; and performing service projects, especially those
benefiting children.
How can I benefit from MOMS Club® ?
By interacting
with other moms you will gain a sense of fulfillment as well as providing your child
with new
and exciting experiences.
What are the Planned
activities?
Some of our activities include, playgroups, MOMS Night Out, Kid
Fun, etc. We also are involved in many service projects benefiting area
organizations.
How do I know MOMS Club® is right for me?
If you are seeking friendship, people with common interest to yours, and
support for today’s mothers, this is what MOMS Club® offers. Why
not come and see for yourself.
We believe being a mother should not isolate
you, so children are welcome at our meetings. Prospective members are
encouraged to attend our business meeting and/or a playgroup.
Joining is easy. Our dues are $24 a year,
which pays for our newsletter, supplies, and other programs. If the dues
would be a hardship for your family, please talk to a member of the board
when you visit us.
