one large playgroup and one business meetings, but all other activities

MOMS Club® of Joplin, MO Business Meeting occurs the third Wednesday of
every month at a local church.
A nursery is available for $2 per
child, $1 for each additional child, with a $4
cap per family.
MOMS Lunch Bunch goes to a local pizzeria directly
following the monthly business meeting. It's a chance
to socialize with other moms and their children.
Large Playgroups are held each month at a different local
park. We alternate Mondays and Tuesdays each week throughout the
month. During the winter months we hold playgroup at an alternative
location.
Kid Fun is usually scheduled twice a month for members'
children to enjoy a fun and/or informative event. Past activities
have included a tour of a candy shop, visiting a fish hatchery,
creating kid's crafts, or going to Chuck E. Cheese's.
Family Fun is a scheduled activity, such as bowling,
miniature golf, swimming, or holiday parties that the whole family
can enjoy.
MOMS Night Out is a monthly opportunity to enjoy dinner, a
movie or another fun event with fellow MOMS Club® friends away from
our children.
MOMS Club® Service Projects help several charitable
organizations in the community that service women, children and
families. Through our annual Mother's Day Tea and Silent Auction,
cookbook, various bake sales and fundraising events, we have donated money,
goods and services to several local charities, including Children's
Haven of Southwest Missouri, Ronald McDonald House, Lafayette House,
Salvation Army, and Joplin Public Library, as well as the national
Mother-to-Mother Fund.
Small Playgroups vary when they meet, but most meet twice
a month and are grouped by age and gender.
Activity Groups are small groups that meet according to
their particular special interest. Currently some of the activity
groups include Breakfast Buddies, Scrapbooking, Recipe Club, and
Garden Club.
Babysitting Co-op is available to MOMS Club® members in
good standing who are interested in exchanging babysitting services
with other members.
