1 lb. ground beef
2 large onions, chopped
3/4 lb. sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
4 cans (15 oz. each) pork and beans
1 bottle (18 oz.) honey barbecue sauce
1 can (16 oz.) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (15-1/4 oz.) lima beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (15 oz.) black beans, rinsed and drained
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 tablespoon liquid smoke, optional
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
In a large skillet, cook beef and onions over medium heat until meat is
no longer pink; drain. Transfer to a 5-qt. Dutch oven. Stir in remaining
ingredients. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until heated
through.
