Super Macaroni Salad from Charlotte H.

1 lb. elbow macaroni
1 cup finely chopped green pepper
1 cup finely chopped onion
1 cup finely chopped carrots
1 cup finely chopped celery
1 cup cubed cheddar cheese (small cubes)
1 cup frozen peas
1/2 cup vinegar
1 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 cup sugar
2 cups mayonnaise
salt
pepper

Cook macaroni according to directions on package. Chop the next five ingredients. Mix macaroni, vegetables and cheese together. Mix vinegar, condensed milk, sugar, mayonnaise and salt and pepper to taste. Pour over macaroni mixture and let set in fridge several hours to allow flavors to blend. (I have found it tastes its best if you allow it to set a day and a half to really let the flavors blend.)
