Super Macaroni Salad from Charlotte H.
1 lb. elbow macaroni Cook macaroni according to directions on package. Chop the next five
ingredients. Mix macaroni, vegetables and cheese together. Mix vinegar,
condensed milk, sugar, mayonnaise and salt and pepper to taste. Pour over
macaroni mixture and let set in fridge several hours to allow flavors to
blend. (I have found it tastes its best if you allow it to set a day and a
half to really let the flavors blend.) Serves 6+ |
