Pumpkin Muffins from Wendy W

1 pkg. spice cake mix
1 can (15 oz) pumpkin
3 large eggs
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup water
1 container cream cheese frosting (optional)

Blend cake mix, pumpkin, eggs, oil, and water in a large mixing bowl until moistened. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour batter into 24 paper-lined muffin cups (or sprayed pan). Fill 3/4 full. Bake in 350 oven for 16-21 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans for 10 minutes; remove to cool completely. Spread with frosting and decorate as desired. (Great with just a sprinkling of powdered sugar too!)
